Our client, a corporate investment division within a major company, had identified an innovative system for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). This system had the potential to offer an energy saving, environmentally friendly alternative to existing technologies. However, our client’s division more commonly invested in new technologies that were in the later stages of development. As a result, they did not have the expertise to perform the necessary technical due diligence on the system’s characteristics.
Additionally, our client was unfamiliar with the broader HVAC market. They required an expert assessment of this new HVAC system’s strengths and weaknesses compared to existing HVAC solutions. They also needed advice and guidance regarding which market segments and geographic regions presented the best opportunities for the commercialisation of this unique system.
