Facing the challenges of ever evolving cyberthreats, the increasing frequency of cyberattacks, and the potentially catastrophic consequences of a successful attack, our Client had taken the initiative to develop an innovative set of tools to protect their own systems. They recognised that their technology might be valuable to other companies too, but wanted expert assistance in evaluating the potential market for their solutions.
They asked CamIn to provide an expert evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of their solutions, and to guide them on positioning their technology in the rapidly changing and competitive cybersecurity market.

competing technologies benchmarked.
CamIn created three teams of scientific and industry experts to work with our principals in evaluating each of the Client’s cybersecurity technologies, which provided solutions related to digital forensics, cloud computing, and smartphone security. First, our teams evaluated the two industries and sectors where each of the Client’s tools could be most useful.
Our teams then established the best technical criteria to use in comparing the Client’s solutions to the competition in that sector, collected data on the performance of each solution, and identified each solution’s strengths and weaknesses. CamIn also identified potential investors or partners that could work with the Client to further develop each of their tools into commercially-viable solutions.
